My 11.5 gives me plenty of safe break-in room; an 11D might deliver a tighter PNW-style fit, but I would rather be slightly generous than discover the boot is too short after it develops toe spring. The only real disappointment was FedEx missing the paid overnight delivery—not Parkhurst, which remained attentive throughout.
