Work load?

Hi all,

How many hours a week are you all averaging including class + study time? I’ve seen ranges from 15 hours to 40 hours which seems like a huge range.

Would also be helpful to know which program people are a part of, what year, and what percent of the class you’re aiming for (top 50%, 25%, etc).

I work full time with some pretty rough hours and have a pathway to a promotion that requires a JD to be competitive (but does not practice law). I would be looking at graduating in the top half of the class to maintain a scholarship vice graduating in the top 10%, so it’s helpful to understand what the time commitment really looks like especially for someone who is used to reading a lot and synthesizing new information as part of their job.

(I did find a post about this in the search, but there weren’t many answers- hoping to get some more data)
