Should I apply for finance first?

It is important to me that I know my APR rate before I finance because I don't want to pay interest. I want that 0% APR promo but don't want to ding my credit score quite yet (taking my time shopping other brands rn). Seems like the dealership makes you apply through them.

Online they all say to get OTD before talking finance, but I just want to know my rate. I'm not worried about the payments but I'm not 100% sure I will get the 0% rate. My credit is 760+ and I calculated my DTI ratio w/ the potential new car payment to be less than 35%.

Basically, is it hard to get the 0% APR?

Do they tell you that you qualify, or are they sneaky about it?

Should I discuss OTD first in this case, and just hope for 0% APR?

Is it hard to get 0% APR?

Is it difficult to qualify for Kia's 0% APR? I'm looking to finance around 23k. I have a credit score that hovers in the 760-790 range. My only debt are my student loans. The thing I'm worried about is my income to debt ratio cause I only make 50k. I'm not worried about the payment itself as I'm financially responsible, I'm just worried about not getting approved. Technically I can file jointly to double the income with my partner, (same credit background) but was hoping to do it myself.

I would apply to check, but I don't want to ding my credit score yet as I'm still looking at other brands and dealerships.
