Mandamus for H4 EAD suggests

Hey everyone,
My H-4 EAD is expiring at the end of this month, and I'm looking at filing a mandamus petition to address delays in my case. Before I move forward, I'd really like to hear from folks who've gone through this.

If you've filed a mandamus for H4-EAD, I'd love to hear about:

**•**	What was your experience like?
**•**	How long did the process take?
**•**	Any pitfalls or things you wish you'd known going in?
**•**	Any wins or smooth outcomes?

I know mandamus cases can be hit-or-miss depending on jurisdiction and circumstances, so both success stories and cautionary tales would be really helpful. Would be great to connect and share experiences.

Thanks in advance!

Mandamus filing suggestion for h4/h4-EAD

H4 h4-ead still pending | May 14th RD

Both h4 and h4 ead had SRC receipt nos. Some time back it was in Texas, today when I checked it is in 2 different centers. Is it expected ?

Form I539 APPLICATION TO EXTEND/CHANGE NONIMMIGRANT STATUS is currently processing at the Nebraska Service Center. Form I539 APPLICATION TO EXTEND/CHANGE NONIMMIGRANT STATUS is not missing any information or documentation. Your case is actively being reviewed. Your application for employment authorization (Form I-765) is being processed at the National Benefits Center. As of now, your application is complete, and no information or documentation is missing. Your case is actively under review. You can check the processing times table available on our website: egov.uscis.gov/processing-times. Select the form, category, and local office or service center from the drop-down menus. You will be provided with an estimated processing timeframe. Then, enter the receipt date and select the "Get inquiry date" option. If the message indicates "You can submit inquiries about your case via an online service request," you may submit an electronic request for a "Case Outside Normal Processing Time" at egov.uscis.gov/e-request/Intro.do.

H4 h4-EAD delays

I had filled the h1 (premium processing) +h4 + h4-ead on 05142026.

H1 receipt says IOE, it says California pp center approved it. But the h4 and h4-ead is sitting idle in Texas processing center.

The case never said it was transferred, just sitting as received. No biometrics either.

Has anoboy else had this same experience?
