The bait is baiting

The bait is baiting

You cannot make this up. They know what they're doing. They know what bait to use.

Zutara in infinite craft

I was playing around infinite craft trying to get zutara. Explain to me how combining Katara and Zuko makes Kataang but if you combine Zuko with Kataang it becomes Zutara.

I genuinely cackled when this happened.

NATLA cast always talking about zutara

Is it just me that's getting annoyed how zutara is always brought up in interviews?

Especially with so much confirmation that they're gonna keep the canon couples and not make zutara canon. I love zutara but I'm not gonna cling on the false hope that they're gonna be canon in the live action.

It's so obvious that they're baiting zutara so much and with the casts reaction towards the ship is different everytime.

Sometimes they make weird faces when zutara is mentioned and sometimes they say they see the appeal. Whether they like zutara or hate it doesn't matter to me but it's weird they always have to talk about it. What about exploring other ships or relationships between the characters like taang, zukka, zukaang and sokki?

People always take these interviews out of context and try to guess their opinions on the ships when they never really directly discuss because of the ship wars. Whoever is in charge of the questions in their interviews needs to stop bringing up the topic of zutara. Antis will take advantage of the slight grimace they make when they talk about it.

The cast must be so tired of having to be asked what they think of zutara because they have to be careful with their words or else they'll get harassed.

I'm not saying that the cast hates zutara but if most of the writers are pro zutara it would be kind of weird for the entire cast to be so against it but antis use their reaction as a validity that zutara is a terrible ship.

Everyone knows about the ship wars but it's like they don't know how hostile people are when zutara is mentioned.

Muting kataang on tiktok

I have no choice but to mute the kataang hashtag on tiktok. As much as I love kataang, it's hard to enjoy the ship when it's insulting zutara when it wasn't mentioned.

I've block so many accounts that were very anti-zutara and I thought I'm not gonna see anymore of those users or posts but it always somehow finds a way back in my fyp.

Edit: Apparently, 80% of ATLA videos is tagged with kataang since I barely see those videos after muting kataang but atleast mo more hate ig.

Zutara in webtoon

Does anyone know about this Zutara comic that's on webtoon?

I read it awhile ago and I just wanna share it to people who might not know about this.

It's not a very deep story and it's mostly silly but it was still a fun read.

Zutara crumbs in the movie

I'm taking advantage of the very little crumbs we got from the leaked movie.

When the gaang was talking about whether Tagah was attractive, Zuko kept his eyes on Tagah while the others were talking but only looked to Katara when she called out Toph.

He's checking to see if Katara also thinks Tagah was attractive but since she only scolded Toph about it and it wasn't the right time to be talking about stuff like that, Zuko looked back down on Tagah.

Then when he agreed that Tagah was attractive, the first person he looked at was Katara again. He always wants to look at Katara first whenever he gets the chance. To see her reactions even when she gives him a judgemental look.

And since he can't sit next to her, he'll just sit right in front of her so they'll be the first person they see when they both look up.

Did Zutaras popularity decrease recently?

I just wanna ask if the popularity of zutara has decreased over the years or it's just the hate resurfacing because of haters and just becoming more vicious.

I know how popular zutara was back in the day. Every single post was full of praises and love for the ship with maybe one or a few comments about hating it but now you can't even see a single post about zutara without other people coming over to mention they're not canon or kataang is better.

Zutara is an old ship that has existed for 20 years so maybe it's because a lot of its fans have grown up and have their own lives to worry about. And maybe because of the resurgence from the atla movie it gained a few fans and some came back.

From what I've seen, it seems that a lot of "fans" are just saying they're fans because of the popularity of the show. I've read comments about ehat they say what happens in the show and the way they talk about it it's like they didn't even watch it. And it's not just about zutara, I'm talking about every other character there and the plot. They say things that never happened in the show when it did, asking things because they don't know what happened. It could be because they don't remember but I doubt that you could forget details about the show that were vital to the plot. And maybe some of it was ragebait, who knows.

I'm gonna assume that a lot of the new fans are younger and possibly are canon-only. I've noticed these from other fandoms as well. People who are new to fandoms or are younger fans tend to be weirded out by crack ships and rarepairs like the jjk x disney princesses trend. "People just be shipping anyone at this point." Back then we had jelsa, mavis x rapunzel and rise of the brave tangled dragons.

I could guess that these people don't like the idea of non-canon ships and especially if there's already a canon couple that has that one character involved.

I don't think I've seen new fans who like zutara. They always end up liking kataang which I don't have a problem with it but it's more so like they see who katara will likely end up with so they will stick with it because that's how it ends in canon.

I probably didn't explain this well enough and the wording is all over the place. I just woke up and my head is a bit groggy, sorry.

I feasted on kataang but I crave for zutara

Ever since I watched atla as a kid, I've always been a zutara shipper. Even when I didn't like zuko as much back then but I've always sensed the chemistry between him and katara. Don't get me wrong, I love kataang but zutara evokes a feeling to me that kataang couldn't.

Ever since the movie leaked, my hyperfixation to atla came back (in fact, it became worse. It's consuming me. Help). The movie was food for the kataangers and I have loved the rise of fanfics and fanarts it has brought upon. I literally cried over them.

After a few weeks of consuming kataang content, I was suddenly back on my zutara obsession. >!That one scene in the spirit world where that spirit mistook zutara as an elderly couple!< was the only part that implied zutara in canon. Also, >!when aang corrected the spirit that they weren't a couple and the spitirit said 'ooh, touched a nerve there.'!< It kinda seemed like it was telling the antis that the mere mentioned of zutara is enough to agitate them lol. But anyways, that scene was one crumb and I've yearned for zutara.

As a kataang and zutara shipper, I've cried for both of them. I've cried for kataang because of the canon in tlok and I've cried for zutara because of what they could've been.

I'm so hungry for zutara, you have no idea.

Why is most songs associated with zutara is from hozier?

I just looked at a zutara playlist and a lot of it was hozier and I also saw on tiktok that a lot of hozier's songs relate to zutara.

I'm not much of a hozier listener so I didn't really read much into the lyrics and try to understand why relate to the ship.

Does the actress for katara in the live action hate zutara?

I've seen so many anti zutara posts saying the entire cast, especially katara's, hate zutara. Ive seen the video where they answer common google questions where the actress threw the question without answering. I just saw it as 'I'm not answering it cuz I need to keep it vague and not confirm things yet.' but i saw so many anti zutara say that because she hates it.

Then with the interview where she said 'what avatar are you watching?' it seems like she's just correcting the interviewer on what's acrually canon.

These interviews are used to go against zutara which I don't understand since why would it matter if they hate a ship? The actors hate the ship so you shouldn't ship zutara?

I don't really care about haters of things I like since it would be a waste of time to do that but I would just like to know about this one part.

And I don't watch natla nor will I ever watch it.

Does anyone have any fic rec for jealous aang? I've seen a lot of jealous katara fics and maybe I'm a bit greedy to ask for more jealous aang fics since with aang being a pacifist and tries to remain composed but tends to lose his cool when it comes to katara.
