Not sure I can fit much else, but really wanted a cost optimal targeted solution. Wanted 2.5 network throughout to pair with the 2gig Quantum Fiber.

2.5 Gig network throughout the house. I ended up wanting more runs to the front of the house for cameras, which wasn’t really possible without serious drywall disturbance. Decided to make a distribution node in the garage. Tidy network, been running great, and I have so much room for activities.
Some minor surgery was required, but am very happy with the end result. Using a Shelly relay for mechanical chime integration and the end result is both wife approved and a nice upgrade from the Logitech circle that was there before.
I have been running this for my kids for years but recently with how hard it is for neighborhood kids to find packs, I opened it to them. $5 packs + free sleeves and top loaders for hits. Shop is only open on Fridays. Haven’t needed to impose limits yet. (Neighborhood kids usually self limit to 2 packs a week)
