Help! How do I save this apple tree?
Why do most of the apples on my apple tree have these black bumps surrounded by red? I’m not able to find pictures of this exact issue online. Not all of the apples have this. I’m not sure what to do or if it’s even salvageable! There are a lot of apples on this tree and most are afflicted with this but not all.
The tree has some small white mushrooms growing on bottom of the trunk. Could that be related?
We haven’t treated the tree with any pesticides or sprays. Any advice would be appreciated.
