Today, I received an Interview Scheduled notice for both my I-130 and I-485 applications. Last week, I sensed that an interview notice might be on its way based on the account API activity between 1 August 2026 and 14 August 2026, and the API patterns observed across other Reddit posts.

API Pattern To Watch For:

1 August 2026: Silent API update for I-485; timestamp indicates this was a system update for Priority Date becoming Current.

12 August 2026: Silent API update for I-485 and I-130 (with the exact same timestamp); this simultaneous update is the key trigger to watch for

Timeline:

I-130 Filed: 11 September 2025

I-485, I-765, I-131 Filed: 23 October 2025

Biometrics Completed: 24 November 2025

I-765 Approved: 29 July 2026 (~9 Months processing time)

I-131 Approved: 3 August 2026 (~9.5 Months processing time; 1 Week after I-765 approval)

Interview Scheduled Notice Received: 17 August 2026 (~11 Months processing time; 2 Weeks after Priority Date became Current)

According to my I-485 API (https://my.uscis.gov/secure-messaging/api/case-service/receipt\_info/XXXXXXXXXXXXX), my case is at the Detroit FO.

But when I chatted with a USCIS agent on Emma, they said my case is at NBC.

Today, I received an approval notice for I-131 AP Standalone Travel Document. I-485 API also shows that it was recently updated on 08/01/2026, but no interview notice as of yet.
