Lamotrigine - morning or night?

Hey guys!!

Currently on 50mg of lamotrigine, due to go up to 100mg in a few days. I started it at night, however, it affected my sleep *i think* however i had just (trigger warning)

come home from hospital after an attempt. I seem to get really bad anxiety in the morning, quite tired/sleepy then seem to pick up by 3/4pm. Is it better to take it at night or just stick with it in the mornings? Cheers guys!

Lamotrigine 50mg

Hey all,

Currently on my tapering journey up to 150mg, I’ve recently went up to 50mg and I don’t know if these are side effects but I feel far more anxious, having really bad headache, muscle pain, I’m really agitated and don’t wanna speak to anyone, I’m feeling just like I’m watching life go by. Has anyone felt like this on lamotrigine? I don’t know if I should just try keep at it or discuss it with a doctor.

Relationship advice?

Hey guys, I’m looking for some gentle advice or just reassurance or something i don’t know

I had an attempt last week and (obviously) still recovering, it’s been a complete shock to the system (really want to reiterate im safe and live with parents)

My issue is…during a manic episode i got back with my ex then i crashed and had my attempt. I am in no way mentally stable, emotionally stable or anything and i don’t think i will be for a while until my meds are sorted and lots of things are sorted for a relationship right now. I feel like i need to break it off but i know she’ll (rightfully) be angry because during a manic episode ive gotten back with her but i just, im so disconnected right now and i dont want to be near anyone apart from my parents and my best friend and I think thats what i need for a long period of time. I know some people are going to say it’s too soon and I know, im just looking for general advice or reassurance or honestly just..community. Please be gentle and please delete if not allowed.

Edit: i also know this is incredibly unfair on her due to the ups and downs. I’m trying to navigate it the best i can during a horrible time

Experience with quietapine

Hey all,

I’ve been on quietapine 150mg (plus two 25mgs as and when) for around two-three months, it seems to have helped the manic side but not the depressed side and I’m still consistently going into crisis. Have others found this? Have others found when they pair it with another medication this changes? I feel like I’m depressed 90% of the time and I am rarely actually happy anymore, least when I was manic I would actually feel joy. Any experiences would help.

I’m not looking for medical advice, just experiences etc.
