Completed My Horror Embroidery called Dysmorphia

I did this in a 4 inch hoop and it's based on my internal struggles with my appearance. I chickened out taking the risk of fully colouring the girl but definitely on my next project I want to experiment more.

Progress on my Horror embroidery

This one will be called 'Dysmorphia'. I'm a little nervous since this one is quite personal to me and also it's my first attempt at putting more colour into my embroidery. I still need to add touches to the girl and do the background.

New horror embroidery design I'm working on

The hair was quite fiddly but it was good to concentrate on something because my mental health has taken a beating this week.

I read this book several times since losing both my Grandparents over the span of 4 years. Sadly I lost my copy that was gifted to me during that time. My Mum came home and gave me this copy from the 60s she bought in a secondhand bookshop yesterday. I love this old cover illustration.

An embroidery I did based on a nightmare I had about walking home from school. I didn't choose my normal route and decided on taking a shortcut to get home faster....but someone was following me.
