In the books it was clear neither side was "the right side" which is what made picking a side fun. There were plenty of reasons for each side being the better side even coming from a black. It made debates on the war interesting now all it is the greens having a stroke because Alicent is a moron(they're right completely) and the blacks hating on Corlys. While I'm a black I think the green fighters in the books are cooler than the blacks. Criston in the books is awesome but in the show all they do is try to make him pathetic and somewhat succeed in doing so. They make Aegon a bully of Aemond for no reason. Rickard Thorne basically nothing. I won't even begin with Lord Wylde. In this scenario they've concocted there is no good reason to pick the greens because the show runners have literally stripped the greens of everything they had except they're sigil which is and always will be better than Rhaenyra's(if you're a black and think Rhaenyra's is better I know you're lying)
