Inattentive videographer
We got married a little over two months ago and only recently received the raw files for our wedding (it was the company’s policy to share the raw photos and videos in advance). We were disappointed to find that we received two videos for our ceremony and one for our reception, both of which consist of a fixed camera on a tripod just constantly filming what’s a head of it whether there is anything in view or not. There are sequences that go one for minutes where literally nothing is in view. Furthermore the only reason we received a second video of the ceremony is because side they cut out during our vows.
Noting again that these are raw files but the company advertised that there would be short form and long form videos included in the package and I’m not sure how they’ll be able to accomplish that with the footage we’ve received. The package wasn’t cheap and the footage for other weddings on the company’s social media page made the videos look a lot more dynamic.
I realize I should wait for the final product but I’m a bit concerned at this point. Any advice from anyone out. There with experience as either a client or vendor?
