Latest LSAT for fall application with average/mid GPA

Hi guys!

I’m wondering if September is too late to take the lsat for applications during the fall. I go to Western and my gpa is honestly kinda meh, I’ll hopefully reach a 3.6 by graduation and my L2 should be better due to mediocre first/second year grades at around 3.7-8.

I’m pting in the mid/high 160s with some lower fluctuations and will be writing the lsat for the first time in June. I have some family stuff going on in August, so would prefer to not write it then, but I know this is a crucial time and am willing to give up whatever I need to for this.

I just feel like I can do better than where I’m currently at if I apply myself better/more and therefore was wondering if there’s anyone that’s currently or once was in the position I find myself in. I want to do as best as I can and shoot as high as possible, though I know some places may be out of reach for me at this point.

Latest LSAT for average/mid GPA application

Hi guys!

I was wondering if September is too late to write the LSAT for fall 2027 applications, as I honestly have kind of a meh gpa (hoping to get an overall 3.6 but my L2 will be higher since first two years were just average, at a 3.7 or 8). I’m writing the lsat in June for the first time but am fearful of having to rewrite as I have some family stuff going on in August (which I could skip to write the august lsat if that’s a lot better, but would prefer not to).

For context, I go to university in Ontario and am looking to apply only in Canada. I know applications are rolling until they close, so would it make my chances a lot lower to write in September again if need be?

I’m PTing around mid-high 160s, with some scores in the low 160s which I attribute to regular fluctuation of score, but I just feel like I could do more/better if I apply myself more.

Let me know if anyone else is on the same boat, and wondering when’s the best time to have their official application score by!

HELP ME

I’ve been practicing everyday for about two hours (for the past two months, having stopped during finals season) on LSAC, and trying to drill when I don’t commit to doing one or two full sections a day. I’ve been scoring in the mid/high 150s and honestly kind of randomly scored a 167 on PT 143 two days ago. While I was writing it, I did think it was a weirdly easy one, and I found the LR components very easy compared to something such as a scientific passage. Is this normal? What could I attribute this to? I’ve been reviewing wrong answers a lot, but that score made me more uneasy than happy, as I fear a lower fluke could also happen at any point or even during test day. Help!!
