going to pride on my own?

hey, I'm mid 20s F, thinking of going to Manchester pride on my own, but worried it will be awkward and I'm not really sure how the weekend works and I don't really want to go on my own but idk. I'd love to make friends but I'm not sure how to. any advice would be appreciated :)

Would love to hear about how you organised it and your experiences :) I'm a fourth year medical student planning my elective in about a year

NPLQ assessment tomorrow, can't make 45 seconds swim

hi, for context i'm a 22 year old, and I've been doing the nplq course, and for the first 65 seconds swim I made it in 60, but for the 45 one the best I've done is 58. two days ago it was 74 seconds so I have improved, but not enough.

\- I'm thinking about resitting - but it's £150. is it worth it?

\- how can I realistically improve this? any help would be appreciated. can I actually improve this?

\- I'm away for a week on holiday, then it's three weeks till uni starts for me. is it possible in this timeframe? say a week break then a couple weeks to practice.

I'm just feeling frustrated and down as this is the only bit I need :(

NPLQ assessment the day after tomorrow, can't make 45 seconds swim

hi, for context i'm a 22 year old, and I've been doing the nplq course, and for the first 65 seconds swim I made it in 60, but for the 45 one the best I've done is 58. two days ago it was 74 seconds so I have improved, but not enough.

- can I do the assessment and resit?

- if resitting would I only be resitting the swimming part (i.e. not the first aid/pool theory)

- how can I realistically improve this? any help would be appreciated
