What would you do?

A few days ago, I picked up a passenger through an insurance-paid ride. She got in wearing a mask, and almost immediately asked me to roll down the windows.
She said the smell of the Febreze I had sprayed in the car was really strong and overwhelming. I told her, “Yeah, sure, no problem,” and rolled the windows down.
Later during the ride, she asked me, “Why do you spray this stuff? You know this stuff causes cancer.”
My question for other drivers is: How would you have responded?
Would you have just said, “Oh, I’m sorry about that,” and left it at that? Or would you have told her that she was wrong about Febreze causing cancer and potentially gotten into an argument about it?
Personally, I just apologized about the smell. I wasn’t trying to argue with her, especially because I’m always worried about passengers reporting me or giving me a low rating. I don’t want something stupid like that turning into a complaint against me.
That brings me to my second question: Can Lyft actually deactivate a driver for something like this? Obviously, I’m talking about a situation where the driver isn’t threatening or insulting the passenger, but maybe responds in a snobby or argumentative way, like, “No, you’re wrong. It doesn’t cause cancer.”
What would you guys have done in this situation?

Costumer Service flags

Are customer service flags basically pointless compared to safety flags?
I understand the importance of safety flags, especially when it comes to protecting your account from getting deactivated.
But what about customer service flags? Do they actually have any impact?
Like, if you accumulate a bunch of customer service flags, can that eventually lead to deactivation, or are they basically meaningless unless there’s already an issue with your account?
Just curious how much these flags actually matter.
