Has anyone with stuttering issues solved it by changing the pc adopter or motherboard?

Specs:

Ryzen 5700x3d

RTX 3070

16GB ram

Headset Resolution:

Lowest possible. 1250x1270

Games Tested (Lowest settings):

  • RE2Remake VR mod

  • Subnautica VR mod

Notes:

  • Clearly the stutter isn't related to cpu or gpu bottlenecks.

  • Not game related either because there is no problem when I matched the resolutions then played on flatscreen.

  • The stutter has been happening ever since I got the adopter + vr2 in 2024. Doesn't matter what nvidia driver, all of them stutter to a degree.

  • The stutters usually happens when I traverse the same areas in game every time. On boundaries that represent different areas in game. On RE2 when I'm near a different section of the map. On Subnautica, when I'm entering a different biome like the kelp forest.

  • I suspect when large amount of assets are being loaded in the background, maybe I got a faulty adopter or a motherboard with bad/unstable USB subsystem and it's causing issues.

  • On steamvr frametime graph, a single stutter is represented with a red line (error) surrounded by yellow (reprojection). A stutter can happen multiple times in a row.

  • Depending on where I plug the usb on the back of the motherboard, the series of stuttering could be mild (lasting a few second or less) to bad (lasting 30 seconds or more).

Makes me think think there is something wrong with my adopter or mobo but I can't test it right now because I can't afford to buy anything right now.

Theoretically, how secure is the KDE (Wayland) lockscreen compared to luks?

Planning to buy ROG Ally and install bazzite with luks fde. Problem is there is no virtual keyboard in luks password prompt at the start. I will have to enable tpm unlock to bypass the prompt which means I have to rely on kde lockscreen against potential threats.

I know that the run-of-the-mill thief most likely can't get past the lockscreen. But it got me curious how luks compare to kde lockscreen theoretically. Specially if the attacker has dedicated know how.

Unrelated but I also heard that in the past, X11 based lockscreens was vulnerable to getting bypassed by crashing it.

Does squeezing water out of thawed vegetable lose their nutrients?

During the freezing process, ice burst the cells and its contents flow out. Does that mean the nutrients will be in the water?

I've seen many recipes saying to squeeze the water out for better frying or roasting results. A large amount of water is reduced. Example is this large tofu block:
