Feel like an idiot, because I was having constant dropped frames no matter what I was playing on my PC, despite the steamvr resolution at 68%. Assumed my two front USB ports were the same on PC but apparently not as I connected adapter to the first one instead of second port, booted up Subside and was a smooth 90fps. For anyone having issues definitely try a different port!
Hey everyone, basically the heading, I do not have a display port cable and my laptop does not seem to have a DP slot. The photo of the slot on the right looks like a mini DP slot but the symbol does not say “DP”.
Can someone please advise whether I need a mini DP end to a normal DP end cable or whether I need a USB-C end to a DP end cable? I’ve been searching for hours and afraid of buying the wrong one. Also does 1.4 cable automatically mean 120 refresh rate?

I know there are countless people who have posted about this but I’ve tried everything. Bought 3 of the 4 dongles, the 4th one comes tmw. I’ve deleted my BT files, restarted controllers, pc, etc. Why is this so difficult? What am I doing wrong? I even tried to do it on my son’s PC, and friends PC. One will connect, but not both at the same time.
I have been trying to get this fixed for a couple of hours, but I can not get the Bluetooth to work on psvr2 for my pc. I have a ASUS USB-BT500, and I can get one of the hands working while one just stays on the floor. The connection to my controllers are at 59. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Yes ive searched around but i noticed something odd well doing my own pained tests for perfected Connection.
TP. Connection starts at 90ish but bounces all over the place, Left hand Freezes often, Right hand sometimes. Tried the Beta drivers and custom mixed drivers with the Asus software mixed in. Failed on both fronts. will run okish for about 10 mins
Just got the Asus and with one controller is perfection. The moment it has to share the connection with its par. 59 HARD lock. Makes u think there on the same Channel or something?
Now i've yet to "test" Asus in game to see if the app is just full of BS.
Yes, The controllers are the ONLY thing connected to the Dongle.
Yes i have a Onboard Bluetooth and IT is Disabled. I have NOT tried to get a buff Antenna, I've got one on order.
Also i have the Dongle on a 2.0 Extension cable and it is on my desk and in vision range of the controllers. With the cable plugged into a 2.0 port. I have also tried a 3.0 port and there was no dif.

I have a psvr2 that is perfect for the ps5.
But on the pc i have a lot issues.
I have solved most of them but i keep to get errors on the last stage.
I have the psvr2 adapter and i connect my controllers ok. The error that i get is the display port. I checked every port on the pc.
I have 1060 super that is comfortable with the psvr.
Anyone with the same issue to help me?

3090 GPU, DP cable connected to the GPU, USB connected to a 3.0 port. light on the adapter is white and the wizard detects controllers+headset. When I get to the part of the setup wizard where you aim your controllers at "Next" after clicking through all the "how to put it on" animations, the wizard only displays on my monitor and not the headset. The headset motion moves the POV on the screen when I move it around, but I can't get the wizard to display on the headset. Any thoughts? I've tried disconnecting my other monitor, restarting the wizard, etc.
I’m going into PSVR2 on PC and despite installing correctly, my screen keeps blinking a black screen multiple times and then turning off after it. I look at my screen on pc and move my PSVR2 and it moves the camera in the game, so the headset is working. Anyone knows a fix? Or is it a faulty adapter (third party, attached)? Also attached my Display Port cable which is a reputable one.
Hi so it’s been a while I am using psvr 2 on pc and ps 5. I am using 5080 paired with R7 9800x3d on pc. But still I kind of feel like psvr 2 looks better on my ps 5 compared to pc even though I am playing at full native resolution in there. I think there are some third party software people use to make game looks better overall pc. Would really appreciate if you guys can suggest some in which way I can use psvr 2 best way on pc as much as possible.
Hi there! I've been looking around for a good upgrade to my oculus rift s I've had for a few years, it's starting to show its wear and tear and I would like something a bit nicer. I was thinking about getting a quest of some sort used but then I came across the Psvr2, I don't plan to use it standalone so I wondered if the psvr is a better option for desktop vr? I can get it for about 275$ total with the adapter it looks like

I got yesterday the game played over 2 hrs and I must say that I have great forts impressions. The game looks gorgeous on psvr2 and even it's an old game the graphics still hold. The chaos the destruction is so much fun.
Since this is an early access I find some bugs, nothing game breaking and I don't think it's too hard to fix.
My specs are Ryzen 7 7800x3d, normal 4070 and 32 gb ram. I use both Psvr2 and Quest 3s. With settings on high. With Psvr2 I manage to play 60 reprojected to 120hz using the full 100% SteamVR resolution. With fix fps unlock I was getting 75 to 80 fps so I believe if I low the resolution a bit I could get the 90 fps. But I wanted to see the game in all it's full resolution.
I'm posting here one race I did. Sorry for the low fps on the capture since recording on PC takes too much of my fps I ended up using the Quest to capture. But the setting were the same that I use with Psvr2.
I found out that my displayport of my Low Profile RTX 3050 (it has only one) is broken. I had the recurring "Check DisplayPort" problem in the psvr2 app while trying to connect it using the official psvr2 pc adapter. I tried all sorts of things, but finally went on to test the DisplayPort itself. I cannot connect a monitor to it with a displayport to hdmi adapter or a displayport to hdmi cable, while I'm pretty sure both the cables and the adapter work. The cable is not being blocked by the bracket, it fits entirely in the port. My two HDMI ports work fine. Can anybody think of an alternative way to connect my psvr2 to my pc?

Looking at picking one up and want to use it with PSVR2 before committing to a purchase with a poor return policy.
The laptop has an RTX 5080 with USB-C (DP 2.1) and Thunderbolt 4 (DP 2.1) ports — both reportedly wired directly to the dedicated GPU. I know Sony officially says USB-C DisplayPort isn’t supported with the PC adapter, but I’ve seen reports of it working on other machines via a USB-C → DisplayPort 1.4 cable (Cable Matters or Club3D).
Specifically wanting to play Half-Life: Alyx with zero issues. Has anyone tested this exact model, or a Legion Pro 7 Gen 10 generally, with PSVR2? Did it work with the adapter + USB-C → DP 1.4 cable?
Any firsthand experience appreciated — positive or negative.
As someone who has recently come back to PC gaming after 15 years or so, I'm stunned by how everything fights each other (mainly software) and general bloat. Been reading about slimmed down versions of Windows. Seems like the business sector version is about as slimmed down as you can get (LTSC). Anyone running this with PSVR2? TIA.
I own four other headsets besides the PSVR2 that are all plugged in all at the same time. When I try to use the psvr2, it cant initialize fast enough. Is there a way to fix this? Maybe some way to force steam VR to only use the psvr2?
