Hoping to find a quiet swimming hole or waterfall or something for my lady's birthday next week. I just got to Parkersburg, so don't really know what's around. Ideally somewhere that won't be packed with people on a Saturday. Any suggestions?
Last y'all knew I was on a bus. I'm still on the bus!!! We've been stationary for a week. Still works, just reached the destination....and when we got here I got to stay!! I kinda fell for the awesome woman whose bus I was driving, and it's mutual! I've been single for like 6 years! I'm scoring work here already with 2 different nice older people. One lady wants to give me her old Subaru wagon, she also sent me back with food, hygiene supplies, and ganja and chewables in addition to pay. The other sweet old dude is paying me 30/hr! And I get to drive his 2015 Ram with under 20k miles! Everyone around me is super nice and nobody is making me feel like I'm unwanted and should move on. Might even have found a 600$ apartment for my lady friend and I! Plus Toro of course, and her 2 cats! I really never saw this coming, I can't remember the last time life has gone so well and smoothly. I hope you all have an awesome string of events this year too!
They needed a driver and I needed a ride! Toro is digging the accomodations. Gonna land in Athens Ohio. I got picked up leaving Garberville and had to leave some stuff behind. If you're going through there hmu and I'll tell you where to find the goods. I bagged up the clothing (used but laundered), sleeping bag is hanging over a branch off the ground, can of peaches....backpack....stuff. I hate to litter, but I had to leave that stuff behind.
Trying to get back to the East Coast. I found someone who's driving there in a few days, I just gotta meet them in Santa Cruz! Just me, my little dog, and my pack. We're both clean and chill and bug free lol.
The travel plans fell through for Toro and I, he's too heavy to fly in cabin on an international flight. Whatever though. Been in Humboldt for a few months now. It's been cool, but it was getting weird where I was staying. Pretty sure I have a ride back east in a week or so though, so that's cool! May even have some seasonal work coming. I'm just chilling in Garberville with my sweet little dog if anyone wants to hang out. I have dog food, but I ran out of human food and money ┐( ∵ )┌
