Advice/ Suggestion Needed

Hi everyone, I’m a Nepali student trying to decide what to do for my bachelor’s. I'm planning to do a 4 year bachelor's at a university in canada with tuition around CAD 20k/ year + 10k/ yr avg living expenses, so the total would be quite a significant investment over 4 years. Almost $120k (i.e. 1 crore 40 lakhs)

I currently dont have much close relatives in canada. (Just a few cousin brothers/ sisters who live in different provinces) So i kinda don't have a strong support system there in case something happens.

I wanted to know about the current situation in canada for students wanting to study bachelor's there. And if we can manage both tuition fee and living expenses on our own after 1st or 2nd year.

Or if i should Study in Nepal and building a strong profile for a funded master’s abroad later

For those who have studied in Canada or know the situation well, what would you recommend in my situation? Is spending ~ 20k/year tuition + living exp worth it for a bachelor’s, or would you choose another option?

Or should I just trust myself, take a leap of faith, work hard and go?

Would really appreciate honest opinions, especially from people who have experienced studying abroad. Make it concise

URGENT!! Need Advice: Canada NOC to USA NOC

Has anyone here switched from a Canada NOC to a USA NOC after already paying tuition to the Canadian university?

The NOC office told me I must first receive the tuition refund in my Nepali bank account before they can cancel the Canada NOC and issue a USA NOC. but it might take a lot of time to get refund from Canada, and my classes in usa are starting soon.

(p.s. i applied to both usa and canada and my canada visa got approved but my us visa is also under processing. and i want to go to us)

If you went through this process, please tell me:

  • Which university?
  • How long did the refund take to reach your bank account?
  • Was there any way to speed it up?

I’d really appreciate hearing from someone who has been in a similar situation. its really urgent and important! Thanks!
