Master in Nepal or abroad?

Hello everyone,
I just completed my bachelor’s in BBA and now I’m wondering what would be the best next decision.
A lil background I got rejected from Australia twice before after my +2 so i decided in the moment ki im better off completing my bachelor’s Nepal ma but now i feel so lost? I think many will understand this feeling of what next but I am genuinely so distraught do I try again? If I do which place is the most suitable? I really would like to try Canada or USA but I have no idea what finances would be necessary. Should I try Australia again? Or wait and do masters and try? If anyone could provide any help I would greatly appreciate it

Is being "Unmarried" and "Not Married" same??

Well, in Nepal, it's not. Being "unmarried" and "not married" is not different.

I had a client who wanted to do Court Marriage and when he made his "Marital Status Certificate" from the ward office, it was written that "..... Applicant is not married".

However when we went to the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to verify it to send it abroad, they said that it must be written "unmarried" instead of "not married".

Wordplay is as interesting as Foreplay

Can anyone help me on which course is better for bachelors in abroad?

I'm a 2026 +2 passout and I got a really high GPA so I was thinking of taking the chance to apply for abroad. But I'm confused on which course I should choose, thinking of IT but I don't have computer science or business maths background. Also grateful if given advice on which country to target.

Bank refusing to update NOC portal after tuition refund (Nepal)

Hi everyone,

I received a tuition fee refund from my university, but my bank credited it to my account in NPR after conversion. Now, while applying for a new NOC, the portal says the bank must update the refunded amount.

However, my bank says they can’t update it because my refund receipt is in NPR and they need a USD/AUD receipt.

Has anyone faced this issue? Is the bank correct, or are they misunderstanding the NOC process?

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Why does switching to connectIPS require reselecting the bank, while the default fonepay option doesn't?

I noticed this across several Nepali mobile banking apps and wanted to understand if there's a technical reason behind it.

Here's what I observed:

Using the default transfer option (fonepay Direct):

- Recipient's bank is already selected.

- Account number is filled.

- Account holder's name is shown.

- You just enter the amount and transfer.

After switching to connectIPS:

- Account number stays.

- Account holder's name stays.

- But the recipient's bank is cleared, so you have to manually select it again.

(Attached screenshot for reference.)

On many banking apps, fonepay Direct starts charging Rs. 10 even for a Re. 1 transfer. connectIPS, on the other hand, is free for transfers below Rs. 500 and its fee typically tops out at Rs. 8.

Given that, it seems reasonable to ask why the lower-cost option requires additional user input.

So my question is:

- Is there a genuine technical limitation that prevents the app from retaining the bank when switching payment rails?

- Or is this simply how these apps have been designed?

I'm not accusing any bank or payment provider. I'm genuinely curious whether there's a technical, regulatory, or UX reason for this behavior.

Would love to hear from people working in banking, fintech, payment systems, or anyone who's noticed the same thing.

France Student Visa Proof of Funds: No Tax Clearance (Income too low), but have solid supporting docs. Is this enough?

Hey everyone,
I'm preparing my financial documents for a French Long-Stay Student Visa (VLS-TS). I want to make sure my profile looks legit to the visa officer, but I have one major worry: I cannot provide a Tax Clearance Certificate/Income Tax Return (ITR) because my sponsor's income falls below the official taxable threshold in our country.
To make up for the missing tax document, I have tried to gather absolutely every other document possible to prove that our funds are 100% legitimate and reliable.
Here is what I am presenting for my proof of funds:
Tuition Fees: My total fee is €3,000 (I will show either a full paid receipt or the exact amount safely sitting in the account ready to be transferred).

Living Expenses: I have the required €615/month (€7,380 for the year) plus an extra buffer to show I won't be struggling.

The Bank Statements: Solid, clean statements for the last 3 months showing a consistent balance. There are no sudden, large, unexplained "ghost" deposits right before the application.

My question: Will the visa officer reject my application simply because there is no tax clearance certificate? Has anyone successfully gotten a French student visa without an ITR by heavily backing up their application with clean bank statements and payslips?

Good News for Tech Entrepreneurs

The Office of Company Registrar (OCR) has reached an agreement with Inland Revenue Department (IRD) with regards to generation of PAN Number of Company within the CAMIS system operated by OCR.

It simply means, while you register your new company, you'll get the PAN number too. No need to apply again at IRD and get one.

DM if you need any consultation regarding Business Incorporation or Company Registration.

How do you make do financial documents?

I'm from a typical middle-class family. My dad and my mom do earn but not enough that is required (who does though). Despite that I'm applying for Canada and I went to consultancy and the thing i was asked was to show my bank statement of a few months for salaries, rent, land lease and all of that.

How do you guys make that? I know that you can ask people to put some money in the account by giving them money but what about institutions? 'Salaries should come from institutions' was said to me I asked him if consultancy itself provided those services, but he said no.

I am lost and do not know what to do. Can bit of advice would help. Any extra advice regarding financial documents would help massively.

For anyone wondering my education and all that. BSc CSIT passed without backlogs (around 78 percent average but transcript aauna baki xa) just last month IELTS score 8. Been a good student all my life. Going for data science masters.

I need help, panicking a lot. Any advice would be nice.

Thank you.
