Bare-minimum "essential" mods to make the skyrim vanilla experience a little better?
Hi. Its been years since I last played skyrim, and it was with a fairly bulky modlist with hundreds of mods. I want to play through it again but while keeping the game mostly vanilla.
I want to create a small, foundational modlist that I wont spend hours upon hours adding onto and experimenting with. I want to actually play the game this time. Some I can remember from the top of my head are the obvious bug fixes, skyui, lux (if thats still the lighting mod we use) and I might even give Dyndolod a go
I want the focus of this next playthrough to be exploration. I've dabbled in combat and harder dungeons and enemies but ive learnt from previous runs that my favourite part about skyrim is the questing and exploration. its also quite tricky to make skyrim "harder" while also being "fun". enemies just end up as damage sponges who deal a million damage
I also appreciate the little things. The mods that arent too loud but feel so nice to use. Like those bounty/missive mods, compass mods, or those mods that make dungeon looting a bit balanced or whatever.
Would really appreciate some guidance. Thanks.
