Feeling euphoric after playing Sky: Children of the Light

Okay, for context, I'm more of a casual gamer since I'm fairly picky with the games I enjoy and try to limit time so I don't get sucked in. However, I kept hearing about Sky and something about the more simple yet gorgeous appearance of their characters had me curious. So I downloaded it for my Switch and....Holy. Fudge. On. A. Pocky. Stick.

I never thought I could feel so connected to myself since it's so hard to customize one's appearance in a lot of games but after playing around to create a basic masc-leaning androgynous appearance similar to what I enjoy IRL? 🤯 I felt so much more confident in acting more RR even though it's only been a few days! Now I understand why some of you guy gamers go nuts when a game allows you to dress more femme; it really gets to ya when you can run around looking like a tomboy sparrow kid! 😭

Now I just have to figure out how to find RR people on there too...wish me luck!

Sparrows and moths

Now I know this is an odd request but...I've recently gotten inspired to write a short story based on the symbology and folklore behind these animals in particular. The problem? Its been difficult finding credible sources on the internet to help me get a better overview of how various cultures viewed them. I've got some vague ideas based on their Wikipedia pages' sources but nothing else so far (especially since I'm in a more remote area with small libraries). If anyone here knows about some good websites or online copies of materials I can research or access, I would appreciate having a more diverse amount to work with!

Living the tropical life

Or at least I have the beginnings of a collection of tropical collared shirts to look like I am, lol 😅 by the way, hello! Thought this was a fun community so I thought posting a few outfits here and there would help give me some encouragement about my progress towards dressing how I'd want more or less i.e. as a 70s dad on a permanent vacation who aint afraid of a little bling now and then 😆 tips and tricks to keep this up on a budget in a remote location is always accepted! 😁

Had a bit of a laugh a short while ago

Recently my dad's been searching for jobs at the new place my folks moved to and as he had been the stay-at-home partner for over 15 years, he had an...interesting time trying to explain his gap between jobs at that point. So of course I overheard this grubby bearded man mention to himself at one point, "Almost like a empty-nesting housewife coming back into the workforce..."

Had to compose myself for a few minutes before continuing to chat with him; he really does lean into RR more than he realizes at times 😅🤣
