I have a question specifically about Siemens Healthineers.

I currently work for an authorized Siemens Healthineers business partner as a Field Service Engineer in the IVD/Diagnostics division, supporting Siemens systems.

I’ve heard from several people, including engineers from both business partners and Siemens Healthineers, that Siemens generally doesn’t hire engineers from its own business partners if they’re already supporting the same product line or modality. Some say it’s an unwritten practice to avoid affecting the relationship with the partner, while others say it’s just a rumor.

Does anyone here have firsthand knowledge of whether this is true? Is there an official policy, a regional practice, or does it simply depend on the hiring manager and business needs?

I’d especially appreciate hearing from anyone in Siemens Healthineers HR, hiring, or someone who has made the transition from a business partner to Siemens Healthineers.

I am a Pakistani living and working in the UAE.

I already have an existing Faysal Bank current account that I opened when I was working in Pakistan. I still actively use this account. I send money from the UAE directly to this account, transfer funds to my family, and also pay installments for my real estate investments in Pakistan.

Recently, I have been looking into investing in PSX through an online broker. While researching, I keep seeing references to Roshan Digital Accounts (RDA), and many brokers seem to promote RDA based investing for overseas Pakistanis.

My question is: **Do I actually need an RDA to invest in PSX, or can I use my existing Faysal Bank account to open a brokerage and CDC account as a non-resident Pakistani?**

I am not looking to replace my current account since it already serves my banking needs. I only want to understand whether an RDA is mandatory for PSX investing or simply a convenient option.

If anyone here is an overseas Pakistani investing in PSX, I’d appreciate hearing about your experience and which broker you use.
