In ‘74/’75 our family was living in Big Spring, TX! The elementary school and junior high school were within 5 to 6 blocks of our house.

My brother and I made friends with some of our classmates and after school, we would hang out at their house or our house. We played football, basketball, and explored “the pasture” all the time. During the summer we were outside every day. The sun felt like it was burning a hole through you and the garden hose never tasted so good as it did on those days.

We rode our bikes everywhere. We built ramps to jump anything we could line up with the ramp. We wrecked and tore our hands, knees, and elbows up but we kept jumping!

I never saw myself as having 5 grandsons but here I am! I learned how to throw a baseball, football, and play basketball with my friends. I wish the neighborhoods were still like this. The good old days were good and I miss those times.

Ok, so, be gentle here. How many hours did the crew spend in the NASA restroom stalls rehearsing putting on their suits? I have many questions about the process of exiting the LEM.

I have noticed that the options for insulated cups are huge! Maybe I am doing it wrong but I just grab a bottle of water and hit the road. Hell, when I was growing up my dad was of the frame of mind that if we did not consume liquids then there would be no need to pull over for piss stops!

Now that I am older I can pull over when I want to so again just a big bottle of water and I am down the highway, at the soccer ⚽ fields, or wherever else I may need it.

I do have one insulated mug for my coffee and I am ok with that. Anyone else notice this when you are out and about? I know there are some folks on meds may need water very handy and I get that but it seems like it is more of a fad than a need. Just my thoughts

We grew up with the best damn music, the best damn cars, and the BEST damn women! It is actually music and sitting out in a cow 🐄 pasture with a ton of other old farts listening to Dwight and ZZ TOP, it just don't get no better than that!

One of the best nights in my life so far! My wife in our $9 Walmart camping chairs and a massive ⚡ thunderstorm is not getting close to the pasture! 🤣🤣 awesome!
