This plant got chewed on by a rat December 2024, but has recovered really well luckily!

Lifted a batch of seedlings this weekend. Very happy with the results!

Some good results from crossing variegated Haworthia with Haworthia ‘Urahannya’. I am hoping that these seedlings will eventually produce the signature mutant leaves of ‘Urahannya’.

I have not seen any info online showing whether the mutant traits are only passed down from the seed parent, or whether the pollen parent can also pass the trait down. Time will tell with these!

Third plant is showing the most promise in the ‘mutant’ department at this point.

A few of my hybrid seedlings with ‘Black Knight’ genetics. The appeal of these types for me are the ‘bubble’-like leaf windows. These have been very slow growing (2023 seedlings), but they will be worth the wait, I think!

A 2024 seedling that is starting to develop good colouration. I cross pollinated plenty of cloudy and white leaf window hybrids that year, including cultivars like Byakuya, Lombard Star, Drew White and others. It is a good sign that it is going so white at only 2 years old!

One of my mature plants. Grown from seed sown in 2022 and it is (quickly) outgrowing a 20cm pot at this point. I will need to find an upgrade soon!
