A stranger sent money to my Capital One account through Zelle. I received the call saying it was a mistake and to return the money which is a very common scam. I reported it to Capital One and they “denied” the claim to remove the money from my account. So my question is, what do I do with the money now? Keep it?

I haven’t done any of the studies that say you need to download an app or anything else because I’m worried that it might cause problems for my phone or computer. When you do the ones with a download, are they usually safe or should I continue to avoid?
