Local Dealer Selling 99 civic hatch, $13,995

I think we’re losing the plot here. Yeah, this car is beautifully kept, and the EK hatch looks great, but this is a DX automatic. I really don’t see how even the biggest EK enthusiast would want to come close to this price. I don’t want to hear it’s a good modding platform or whatever, again, automatic, and if you were trying to make some type of EK9 CTR, just go buy one, it will be cheaper! If the dealer was hoping to get someone just looking for reliable transportation from the golden age of reliable honda, well that’s insane because for this price that’s a terrible value proposition. These cars got popular as reliable used cars because they were like $3,000.

Am i completely off-base? is this the value we’re putting on these cars now?

edit: thought it might show up on that paper, but it’s covered, this is Canton Ohio, so not any place where prices are insane or whatever
