Hello all. I applied to IBEW Local 40 and finally got my ranking today. I am 24. Does anybody know if this is high enough to get in? Thank you all for any insight.

Been told I will be converted after my 90 day probation to career. Background is my office is hiring a ton of clerks. Closer to 100. Some transferring in and most are hiring off the street as PSE’s. I’ve been told by my local union prez that they have never hired so many in such a short window, that it’s unusual and complicated. Is it standard practice that after the 90 days to get converted if there is a spot open? Or should one be converted asap as soon as a spot opens? Feels like it could be a grievance or might have to kick it up. Thanks for any insight.
