I die to skillshots every game so I made something to fix my brain

I can CS fine and I know my matchups, but I still walk into hooks and Morg Qs like it's my first day, and just as often I whiff the skillshots that would've won me the fight. Landing and dodging are really the same skill, and there's no good way to practice either. Practice Tool bots throw skillshots, but they're so easy to dodge and so predictable to hit that none of it translates to a real game.

So I got frustrated and built a browser tool for it. It throws skillshots at you nonstop and ramps up in difficulty the longer you survive, so you're constantly repping your reactions and repositioning. There's also a 1v1 mode where you and a friend try to land skillshots on each other, which turned out to be the best part for practicing your own aim under pressure.

It's called LoL Dodger, and there's a subreddit for it if you want to follow updates. I'm adding new champion abilities pretty regularly. Mostly though, I'm curious how you all practice this. Do you have an actual routine for landing and dodging skillshots, or is it just reps in real games until it clicks?

I built a free browser tool to practice dodging skill shots.

Practice Tool is great for combos and last-hitting, but it never helped me with what I actually die to: dodging skillshots. Bots don't throw Blitz hooks or Morg Qs at you.

So I made LoL Dodger — a free, no-download browser dodge trainer:

  • Escalating difficulty modes that spam skillshots at you
  • Customizable Q/W/E/R/F kit and movement speed
  • Top/Mid/Bot lanes
  • 1v1 party-code mode vs a friend (co-op or PvP)

Full disclosure: I made it, it's a fan project (not affiliated with Riot), and I'm mainly after honest feedback — what would make this a real part of your warmup? There's a subreddit for updates and feedback if you want to follow along r/PlayLOLDodger
