Apologies if this is the wrong place to ask this question, but I'm looking at possibly ETSing from active duty soon and am curious about being an instructor with ROTC.

Quick background on myself: I enlisted in the Marine Corps in 2001 and served a few years as an 0311. I then commissioned as an 11A in the army then went to SF. I eventually resigned my commission and became an 18D then 18F and am now a 180A.

If there are any instructors here, what does that job look like? Would I be able to continue service with 19th or 20th group as well? Anything you wished you knew before starting?

I'm currently a 44 year old CW3 in the Army looking for a change in careers. I'm considering law enforcement and have been looking at the federal side a little and had some questions:

1. Is ERO still hiring older people?
2. What does the job look like?
3. How are y'all liking the job, OPTEMPO, pay/benefits, etc?
