I tried some tutorials online and they said to hold select and menu and when the screen is black turn on lock but that didn’t work. Any suggestions?

I found this galaxy j7 6 on the road next to the dumpster so I picked it up and brought it home to check if it worked, it indeed did but it was factory reseted and I always try to go through the setup normally and it just doesn’t let because I need the original owners email. Apparently there’s something called frp bypassing which I looked how to do and looks way to difficult for me. Does any one have a not so difficult way my dumb brain can understand to get this phone past the setup screen
