Does AI save you time on public-facing content?

I work in a small org and I want to be able to use AI save time on copy generation, so I can focus on the bigger picture.

I’m under pressure to do this as a lot of people in my org are saving time using AI, and it seems like copy generation should be an easy win.

But what I find is even after using and training Claude for a year, written content is still taking a lot of back and forth and iterations to get right. I’m not sure it’s saving time compared to just writing something myself.

Don’t get me wrong, the content isn’t bad and it’s a lot better than it was. It’s fantastic for internal content and admin. But every time it just misses on something - usually the nuance. I have made improvements on style and tone.

Is anyone having success with getting nuanced corporate copy generation right? If so, please share your secrets.
