Anyways, since most people here grew up with these movies so I thought this would be a good place to discuss.

So here’s my personal opinion: the overall look/style in the trailer is fine, it definitely could work in some movies. However, the old style made the movies a lot more authentic and interesting and the sudden change is pretty off putting to say the least…

Also the vibe isn’t quite the same, I don’t know how to explain it. Like… it has less the medieval feel in it than the previous ones. But then again, it’s just trailer, not the whole movie. But the trailer definitely didn’t make me expect any nostalgia though.

At this point I don’t know what to expect from the story, it looks like it might be entertaining after all. Even though I was kind of upset with the changes and the disney-like feel in the new movie, I’ll probably go to watch the movie when it comes out and see if it’s even worth watching.

Also that scene involving Gingerbread Man is maybe a little too inappropriate for a family movie.😅
