2022 Macan S with 28k miles — both engine mounts “failed” $6,400 quote seems high

I recently bought a 2022 Porsche Macan S with about 28k miles and had a post-purchase inspection done at a local Euro shop.

They told me:
- both engine mounts have “failed”
- there’s also a fault for the exhaust pressure valve / exhaust flap motor (bank 1)

The quote for the engine mounts plus labor was about $6,400 before tax. ($5250 of that is labor)

I’m trying to get a sense from other Macan owners:

- Have any of you had engine mounts fail this early?
- What symptoms did you notice?
- What did you pay for replacement?
- Was it covered under factory warranty?
- Does this quote sound excessive?

The car drives well overall and had no other issues noted.

Also curious if anyone has dealt with the exhaust flap motor issue and whether that ended up being a simple fix or warranty item.

I know it’s a Porshe thing for labor to be $$$$ — just trying to learn more. Thanks
