Softener tank head cracked
I recently bought a house with a reverse osmosis system, a month in and it’s starts leaking. I paid for a technician to come out and look at it and preform yearly maintenance and he tells me the head is cracked on the system. He told me they no longer make the head to the softener. He suggested that I bypass it or replace the entire system with their new system that costs $3200. The osmosis tank is fine. Am I able to just buy a softener tank and replace it down the road? Or do I have to go with their system?
