We've spent the last couple days having what we thought were DNS issues contacting our DDoS prot, cloudflare and namecheap to try and running in circles until on a long shot looked it up on a server blocking tracker website and low and behold we were blocked.

Mojang never reached out to me at any of our publicly easily accessible emails and I had no idea for 2 days...

I'm submitting a ticket to mojang looking for answers as to what I was banned for exactly but I think it has to do with our half way loose chat moderation (being an upheld 18+ community from day 1) which if that is the case I have no intentions of making any changes, and we will continue maintaining our current bypass.

We have developed an in house branded mod that allows our members to bypass the blacklist and join our server anyway, its actually really cool, and the blacklist doesn't even affect our geyser/bedrock players one bit, didn't need to change a thing there!

📖 OUR STORY

One sleepless evening in March 2025 while on night shift taking care of my at the time new born son I was growing tired of trying to find movies or TV shows to keep me company, and with my entire social life uprooted also it was time for me to find some sort of outlet to make some late night buddies to talk to. This is when Adults Night Out was born, and in a short period of time it grew far beyond anything I could've ever imagined for it and has continued that momentum a year and a half later.

Adults Night Out has been for many others, what it started as for me, a way to make some lasting impactful friendships when circumstances don't make it easy in real life sometimes. And I'm very proud to continue expanding it to more walks of life and spread our mission even further!

If you would've asked me the day before I put out ANO if I thought I'd be in the kind of position I am from it I would've laughed... But the people I've met along the way, the amazing team we've built that are dedicated to our goal, its really something special we have built here, and I hope to get to share it with you!

Why should you choose Adults Night Out? What sets us apart from other servers on here?

First and foremost, We recently celebrated our first year anniversary! We are professionally run, we wanna give that big community server experience without all the chaos that comes with it. We add suggestions given by the community regularly, some recent highlights including: Polyamory to a marriage plugin, More Plushies (currently we have ones of staff and are looking into mobs!), /tamed, giving players the ability to tame, find and teleport their pets to themselves

This is all done by our very active dev team, who run everything behind the scenes,
keeping our server alive and bug free, while working on new features and add-ons daily.

We have a dedicated server system owned and managed by us, which includes a Ryzen 7950X3D & 192gb of RAM (24gb dedicated to main SMP itself, with plenty of space to build more for the community with!) and in house sysadmin running everything on our backend, We want to ensure a smooth experience as well as keep our server running for all! No more losing your stuff to inexperienced owners on shared hosting!

this protects from grief & theft, as well as having Core Protect for extra security

Progression Systems:
Slimefun with custom expansions, mcMMO, Jobs, and ranks from players self playtime (No P2W)

Economy and Shops:
community run shops selling many items to keep the economy stable and running

Permanent World as well as a resource World:
You can build forever in our main world and gather extra items in our resource world that gets reset every so often!

Quality of life Features:
We have timber, auto replant, auto chest Sorting, XP storage system, double doors, per-player loot chests and more to come!

A head database, imageframes/map art, Invisible item frames, custom posable armour stands!
