Feels very crammed. Suggestions?
Started redoing my setup and realised I completely overlooked PC placement.
My old setup was on the opposite side of the room with the PC hidden in the corner and cables routed through a grommet. It was cramped, so I scrapped the DIY desk and moved to an IKEA setup instead.
Now that the setup is inverted, the PC placement feels awkward. If I face the glass panel inward toward the wall, the cables are hidden but the PC itself is pointless visually. If I flip it outward to show off the build, all the rear cables are exposed and it looks messy.
I’m also trying to fit bookshelf speakers into the setup and was considering wall mounting them, but desk space is limited right now. I’ve been looking at upgrading to a longer IKEA KARLBY since 140cm feels too cramped.
Current idea is:
- longer KARLBY top
- wall mounted PC upper left
- bookshelf speakers mounted below it
Anyone have better ideas or examples of similar layouts?
