I had my fusion (Cotrel Duboset) in 1987. I’ve developed severe osteoarthritis above and below my fusion. I’m seeing a specialist at the spinal center at UCSF, but they will only discuss my spine in segments - one appointment for cervical, one fir thoracic, and a third for lumbar. I’m struggling finding a doctor who will talk to me about my spine as a whole and help me navigate the issues created as a result of almost 40 years of a fused spine. Anyone else with similar issues? Any specialists you like in the SF Bay Area? Thanks
