best way to keep playlists from disappearing when services change?
slightly different angle than normal rec threads but still music related so hope it’s ok. over the last couple years i’ve had a few fav albums vanish or get different versions on spotify/yt music and it kinda killed the mood. i still use streaming for discovery but i’m thinking of backing up the playlists i really love to local files as a safety net. been trying out streamfox on my pc to convert certain playlists to flac/mp3 and keep the tags/art, then playing those through a local player. curious if anyone else here does this and if it changed how you build your playlists or find new stuff. do you keep a “forever” playlist that you also store locally or just accept the chaos and move on?
