I just picked up a pizza from Savage, the food truck just off Genesee near the Uptown Theater. In a change from the recent explosion in food prices, they have lowered prices on their pizza. The website looks like it hasn’t been updated but now a cheese pizza is $10 and pepperoni is $13. I didn’t ask about the price of their riggies so call them up at (315)369-5238. My wife and I pretty much alternate between getting a pizza and getting a large order of riggies. We like everything we’ve tried from there but those are our go-to orders.
I’ve been a fan since they opened for business. Now, even more so.
We recently traded in our Nissan Leaf and we have a few leftover items ; floor mats, tires, and this charging dock. I would like to put it up on Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist but I don't know how much to ask for it. It has never been used. We didn't have the right power service to our garage.
What's a reasonable price to ask?
The previous owner had put stickers on it and signed her name in silver Sharpie (or paint pen.) I took care of the stickers with Goo Gone and I’ve been working on the signature with a melamine sponge but it is slow going. Alcohol did nothing. Any suggestions?
It’s a Makala MK-S. I often bring a ukulele to play when my son plays on the playground after school. It’s good to have a couple of beater ukes to let curious kids play with while I practice. This will be a nice addition to my collection of kid’s ukes.
I saw this Populele on Facebook Marketplace this afternoon and I grabbed it. It’s charging up now. It connects to an app on your phone and has lights on the fretboard to gamify the process of learning the ukulele. I got it for my son, who enjoys doing Duolingo music lessons. I hope it inspires him to play the ukulele.
It's yard sale season! I just picked up boxed sets of Family Guy, Scrubs, Psych, Arrested Development, How I Met Your Mother, Futurama, American Dad, Benny Hill, The Critic, and more for $20.
The woman selling them said they belonged to an ex-boyfriend.
Did anyone else hear a series of loud bangs near Mildred Ave yesterday (Friday) afternoon? We couldn't tell if they were gunshots. I haven't seen any reporting about it.
These are some of the coins in my late father's collection. Anything over face value? Sorry for the poor image quality. I'll take better photos of anything that strikes your interest.
The bartender asks, Say, are you a 40 degree angle? The 50 degree angle says, No, but I'll take that as a complement.
