Welded these andgle iron tabs onto some angle iron which is welded onto the tubing. The amazon suspension kit i bought fits onto these. Adds a few pounds to the front end which is nice. It took us a long time to plan these suspension mounts and future proof it for the rest of the cart. As usual the welds arent good but stringer beads made it much easier to control heat when welding the angle iron pieces to the tubes. Next step is going to be attaching the swing arms to the tube frame via weldable hinges

Went back to flux core wire. But i had to change the nozzle and the replacement was too small so the wire feed kept stopping it was very annoying. Burned some big holes in a few places as well not happy about that. Even so im happy with how its going. I am going to be shielding the frame with sheet metal if i want to take this above 25mph. ITS NOT DONE YET KARENS.

Im liking how its going. Its fun to weld and its very sturdy. These angle cut pieces are a bitch to cut though.

Lots of people are worried about broken welds on this during a crash. So im thinking about welding some pipes to the outside corners of the frame.

What would be better. Welding some 4 inch pipes at every corner or a 4 inch 1/16steel gusset at every corner? Any other ideas besides redoing the welds that are finished?

We just started welding the frame together. Its hard to fishmouth honestly and i didnt fishmouth any of the uprights but the tube will definitely bend long before a weld breaks.

Not the vibrating that happens in the beginning but during accel and decel. Also what usually happens is it doesnt happen if it has been hot and or dry.

Also sometimes it stops after i go into a store for 10 minutes then come out and its no longer happening. Or when its been drove for a while it stops happening.

Wtf is going on

Like sorry i spent this morning working instead of getting my story straight.
