A lot of us are generating AI images and hitting the same wall: upscaling options are either requiring subscription upgrade or a whole separate paid app to install.

So let's build a proper list. If you've found an AI image upscale tool with no subscription — pay-as-you-go, one-time, free tier, whatever — drop it below with:

- Quality for AI-generated images specifically (not photos)

- Any gotchas (watermarks, resolution limits, file size caps)

I feel like I've been rebuilding the same cinematic prompt structure from scratch every single time and it's getting tedious.

I want outputs that actually look like film stills — proper lens choice, color grading language, lighting direction, the works.

What I'm actually looking for is something that helps you think through the full anatomy of a cinematic prompt:

- Scene composition and subject framing

- Camera and lens type (anamorphic, prime, etc.)

- Lighting mood and source (golden hour, practical lights, etc.)

- Color grade style (bleach bypass, teal-orange, etc.)

- Film stock or texture references

Does something like this actually exist as a tool, or is everyone just using their own saved templates and intuition? Would love to see what systems other people have built for this.

Also curious: which AI image generator do you find actually responds to cinematic prompt language the best? Some tools just don't seem to care how detailed your prompt is.
