For context; currently an associate in the M&A team at a global EB in Australia which I’ve been at for 4 years since A1. I still enjoy the work, have flirted a bit with PE and other random opportunities recruiters occasionally send through, but wondering if there are any similar paying jobs to IB in the finance space that have a marginally better wlb? Corp dev obviously better wlb but pretty big pay cut, and even the mid market PE roles you’re still shaving 20% off your base (with the carrot of carry) for what seems like a similar workload in banking anyway…

Just curious to hear others’ thoughts and if I’ve missed anything. Thanks in advance!
