There is a beautiful Mauve Sylvestre Jige available and several Evelyne’s. A few Loop bags didn’t have a “for display” so those might be for sale too. It’s 8:30 am now, store was empty (all of them are).
Learned today in Paris that Birkin bags are no longer being made in Epsom leather. Did everyone else know this? I knew they weren’t doing sellier but isn’t realize that meant no Epsom at all!
Wondering the best way to store a picotin? Stuffed given that it’s slouchy. . . but in the box? In dust bag? Upright or lying down? Thanks!
First time in the Rome store and had a fabulous experience! Hadn’t been expecting much based on some posts I read, but I was paired with an incredible SA and left with exactly what I asked for!
Went in to get a hat (it’s about 100 degrees here right now) and a pair of jet sneakers. Also ended up selecting a cashmere sweater as they just started receiving next season’s RTW.
I then asked if any bags were available and what I wanted (either a jige or picotin). SA said she wasn’t sure they had any of either but she would check, then asked me to tell her what bags I have in my collection so she could get a sense of what I like and colors (it’s a long list). I was shocked when she came back with an orange box that was “picotin sized” and even more so when it was the color and hardware I requested! Such a lucky day!!
