Update on my world

I've been slowly adding more to my world, I’ve added a shopping district and grown the farming area :) Also my villagers are multiplying naturally! This data pack really makes you appreciate a slower game experience, I'm loving it!!

is my game haunted or just the datapack being creepy

i've been playing Matcha flavored for about a week now. I made a few worlds before I added the mods I wanted and I've been consistently playing on one world for about five days now. pretty early on I found one of the abandoned villages that the data pack adds and decided to redo the village and make my base there. I chose one of the houses for my personal home that are made to look like a player was in them (cobblestone outside, torches on the roof, chests inside) and I thought this was a really cool detail that made the world feel more alive and a little creepy even. as I've been renovating other houses in the village and adding paths between them, I noticed I hear sounds of blocks being placed and destroyed when I am not destroying or placing blocks, even doors opening and closing but none are physically moved in my village. Cave noises are also far more frequent when I'm in the village, but there could be a cave under me. I decided to turn on subtitles and it does show that there are sounds of blocks being placed even when I'm not placing them is this part of the data pack to make these villages a little more creepy or am I haunted?
