Taylor was able to victimize her as a martyr

I think this is an important topic to talk about, as there's always some users getting near it but none of them seems to reach the crucial point.

There was always a ton of hatred, devaluation and demerit towards any succesful woman in any industry or sector (music, politics, sports, ...).

There were another contemporary female artists like Lady Gaga or Miley Cyrus who literally fought in important interviews against important men or media against misogyny, bad behaviour towards women, against the music industry boycotting them.

Other ones like Kesha, reported that they were allegedly harassed or sexually assaulted by producers and other people who worked in the music industry.

What Taylor did was going into legal battles vs a producer/music company with all her billion dollars and fans behind her, which she totally commercialize to make EVEN MORE MONEY by releasing songs that SHE HAD ALREDY RELEASED or feeding up into a drama created by her.

So, can anyone explain to me (a non Taylor fan) why most people consider this as an big feminist or relevant moment in the music industry? I never saw Taylor fighting for any kind of human right (feminism, poor people, world hunger, LGTB, etc)... I never saw her fighting for anything that wasn't about herself.

I'm talking about this topic because there are A LOT of people that always goes with the quote ''omg but Taylor has always been hated by a lot of people she has been criticized in the industry poor Taylor''. Girl, you better joke. I didn't see people calling her atrocious things as they did to Gaga. I didn't see people mistreating her as people did to Justin Bieber. People just didn't care about her at all, I don't know.

This has gone beyond being a fan; this woman is legit brainwashing people into thinking she is some kind of saint or martyr by doing nothing but feedbacking her ego.

This is not a fanbase, but a cult.

I've A LOT OF FRIENDS (and by a lot, I really mean A LOT) who were into pop cults fanbases in our highschool time, while we were at college, now that we are reaching adulthood... but I don't know anyone in my entire social circles (I'm talking bout boyfriends/girlfriends of friends of mine, from my partern's side, relatives, work colleges, ...) but two people that are into Taylor. Obviously there's people like me who like 1 or 2 songs, but that's all (and personally I only listen to them like 10 times a year).

I was also in the ''Twitter era'' when it was all about pop stars like Gaga, Rihanna, Ariana Grande, and even Mariah Carey... but still no traces of a ''hardcore'' Taylor fanbase or internet presence as big as the ones I've just mentioned.

So, right now I'm kinda confused about why she's in all social media, as the number 1 artist etc, even appearing in my Spotify reccomendations (someone seems to be paying bots and money for this...), when she's super mediocre compared to the rest of her contemporary artists, or even new ones like Sabrina and so?

I mean, she really sold out all of her scam tour with 1 million shows around the globe, but I really can't understand how, as in my mind she only has 2 hit or indisputable albums (Red and the one which is 19XX something), her whole vibe is about exposing all her ex-boyfriends with mediocre songwritting and boring lyrics and she has no real presence as a performer (even Dua Lipa was mediocre at first when doing concerts, but she grew up as an artist and now shes kinda tea), even after A DECADE of doing world tours.

Why is she liked so much nowdays? Is because she did the shitty 'The Vault' thing aka trying to make money from picturing herself as a feminist icon (when she obvsly isn't)? Is because highschoolers are eating her propaganda in social media? Is it all a lie and it's just her buying bots and so?
