So, a lot of outrage in the previous thread is that Pendles is getting paid at all. However, according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement:

(d) The signing fee paid to the Player will be based on a profit share with the Club after cost of goods and royalties are paid, as follows:

(ii) 65% to the Player and 35% to the Club on Player Milestone items or individual awards won during a major event like the Grand Final;

I get outrage relating to Pendles getting 100% of the profits, but a number of people are outraged he is paid in the first place in line with the CBA
