Wait for the DLC or no? Also performance question.

I finally have a new rig now and Rise of the Ronin runs smooth as butter now maxed out with 0 upscaling (same for Wo Long) at 1080p at 60fps so I am wondering how Nioh 3 runs for you without framegen bullcrap and upscaling compared to RotR or just in general how's the performance in comparison, heard Nioh 3 is supposedly a bit better.

I am playing other stuff but DLC1 should be coming soon now in Sept. Do you think the game is decent on it's own now? I do know DLCs will complete the game as always was the case with newer TN games. With DLC2 coming somewhere before Wo Long 2 next year I kinda don't know what to play when...still funny that Wo Long 2 is coming out so close to DLC2 but I digress...

I did kinda get spoiled on the game but I don't really care I was very keen to check the footage and some gameplay since my demo ran like ass on my older rig.

Specs are 5070ti, 9800x3d 5.0Ghz, 32gb of DDR5 Cl30 at 6000Mhz mode and SSD ofcourse.

Thanks.

I hope Wo Long 2 keeps the auto-dash setting.

This setting alone changes how smooth and fast game can be both while in combat and outside of it.

If you don't want to try and think it gets in a way I can see that but once you are used to it it's amazing, great for chasing bosses as well. Block will always slow you down if u have a hard time with parkour.

Capping your monitor to 60hz makes the game playable.

This seems to be a fix for all of their titles and it's annoying. Just leaving it here for others who aren't aware.

NEW Parriable Yokai mod on Nexus [Nioh 2]

Tried it a bit in a dojo seems super fun to throw yoki around with dual blades. It works with all yokais apparently and all parries, super fun.

Anyone tried it? Worthy of a reinstall.

It can be set up with DLL loader if you don't want to use Lazy Loader for FromSoftware titles as is instructed to on mods page.

^^Just put ParryYokai.dll into it's own folder and name it whatever inside "mods" folder. Not sure if it works with ModEngine tho but it doesn't clash with other dll mods obv like Perma refashion, Interact swap button and Camera FOV...
