Anyone else find it unfair, that you can’t summon for help. On these boss fights?

Love this game man. How do you think a heavier hitting and slower weapon would work with the Ninja Class.
I would love to see something like the War Hammer or Dabiliharo sword from Ninja Gaiden Black. I'd also be cool with something like the Scythe from NG2.
Personally I think this would be a great addition, y'all reckon this could work on the Ninja class?
Although it's built around agility etc.... maybe this weapon type could have a higher block stat than the usual ninja weapons? Or maybe it could have the ability to launch certain enemies, stagger etc...
Smarter ppl than I work at Team Ninja, but would be interesting to see how they tackle this.
At higher levels of Stone of Penance, bosses seem to get enhanced ailment resistance, making it harder to inflict Confusion with Thundering + Glacial Calamity (which was my go-to through most of the game), so I'm looking to see what other things can be done for fun.
I'm asking for things that aren't obvious and can increase the skill ceiling in the game. If something only works with certain build options, make sure to say what it is (a set, jutsu-related accessory mods, certain weapon skills, passive skills, etc).
One thing that might help is an analysis of how much ki damage the various jutsus do. I don't have a good way to analyze that (other than going to the training dojo and just kind of eyeballing it).
Here are some things I'm aware of:
Here are some things I'm aware of, but not sure how to capitalize on:
Im having a lot of fun with all the weapons and cant really decide on just one for a build...So im looking for a build and recommended set that doesn't depend so much on the weapon? Thanks in advance.
What do you think? Is he your favorite boss too?
What’s everyone’s favorite soul core? Are you Ninja build or Samari mainly (or both)?
I hardly ever get stuck on games. I’m stuck on the Baba Nobuhara. I can get really close to beating him but Seems like he can just kill me in a few moves especially if he grabs me. What am i doing wrong? How do i build my defense. The forging system not only seems confusing in this game but very expensive with gold and items.
I am still on my journey to completing nioh 2. I am on dlc 2 now but this man....this man yoshitsune was the most fun fight in the while franchise so far next to yatsu-no kami, shuten doji and benkei.
Do i have any other banger fights left in dlc 2 and 3? Also what were your favorite fights in nioh 2??
This game has some really cool art direction if I’m being honest.
I somehow just managed to beat Hiruko (Nioh 3) purely in ninja style. I thought his second phase was impossible but it turns out he hates poison.
I have +57 poison imbue hatchets and I use poison ninjutsu alongside it and will literally run away as poison ticks away at a boss’s health bar until they get close enough for me to pull off the cheesy victory. I tried to fight Hiruko in a more noble way but resorted to my comfortable poison cheese to pull off the W.
That’s now the entirety of the game up until this point played entirely in ninja style, seeking the cheesiest wins possible…
I have to ask, is this the most degenerate way to play Nioh 3? Am I missing a huge part of the game by ignoring samurai style and playing this way? Am I a shameful person?
u/batshitnutcase here's more
took me a long while to make one sorry. i was busy with life things
No bonus this time
can only do two sadly, i cant take on 3 at a time, because styling on 3 enemies is a bit too much since i die on one hit, it gets monotonous every time i have to try the same bosses over and over again.

I haven’t tested it on all enemies, for some it doesn’t work, no idea if it’s a hidden mechanic or just a bug.
It also works on Yoki but I haven’t included it in the video because you can achieve the same result by wailing on him after breaking his horn
Recently discovered the love of hatchets in Ninja style. I always thought Tonfa was king, but im having second thoughts after playing with them in the dojo. Tonfa is strong.. but Hatchet had more tools. Similar speed, strength, and better aerial combat. What do yall think the strongest ninja weapon is?
So after running the gauntlet and testing out skills and all that, I like the dual swords. Not just for the look but also the speed and movement they offer, even if they don't hit hard.
But like...are they bad though? Like are they too weak to do everything in the game with? Also side note, what is best armor for them?
So I was kinda burnt out of Dream of the Nioh, so I decided to replay Nioh 2 from NG1 on a new save, and it's really fun seeing how much or my growth is in player skill and not just more levels and better gear. Stuff that used to be super tough for me is just like, not that hard because I know what I'm doing now. It's really fun.
I've nearly perfected my spear build, I've got nothing really left to do except the most minor of adjustments and drop farming. 110 hours in.
But I just can't stop playing. It's so fun, literally the only game I want to touch right now.
I might just working to refine another build entirely and save it to a new gear slot, I guess.
I did a quick search in and couldn't find any relevant info so here goes:
Recently I've been experimenting with retrograde flow water and, among others, I found that it effectively counters most yokai burst attacks..
If anyone else is interested in trying it out, it would be nice to hear your input.
