so ive been doing some thinking...

i beat ocarina for the first time with my friend using ship of harkinian co-op. it was a blast. i loved every second of it but MAN...links life just sucks throughout it all.

hes the only one without a fairy, and you would think he would get made fun of, yno haha, i have something you dont. and when he finally does, you would think he would go to tell the great deku tree the good news of what happened, only to realize his own father figure is about to die because of a parasite, so he quickly defeats it, only to realize hes too late. as for the other kokiri, you would think that if they heard the news, and link was the last person to see him, they would blame him for not knowing earlier, and becomes an outcast. so he kinda gets roped into this whole destiny with zelda, helping the gorons, saving princess ruto, making all these friends in the process, dealing with all these monsters 8X the size of him, only to finally get the master sword and realize that everything went to shit, so now he has to try and save everyone, only to then realize that everyone hes met on his journet is basically becoming a sacrifice for destiny. saria, darunia, ruto, impa, and nabooru, all just to be pawns to seal off ganon.

and then theres the whole majoras mask thing where the moon is falling, he gets his own horse taken rom him, gets forcefully turned into a deku scrub, and he has to find all these masks while suffering the torment of putting the masks on and becoming different races.

man i just feel so bad for him. poor guy..

New player here, i might be cooked if i keep trying...

Im currently trying to work on beating the first boss. But a couple of things are bothering me..

  1. Im trying to level up, most of my statts are 11, but im running out of durability

2:im planning on grinding blood echoes to buy more blood vials so i can be prepared for the boss fight, but im running out of durability.

  1. There is no weapon drops like in dark souls so i have to deal with the only weapon i have, which is scary to me because im running out of durability

  2. Where tf do i go to repair my weapon? im running out of durability.

And yes, i did attempt to beat the boss and i had a little under 1/10 of his healthbar left. If this keeps going, im thinking of just restarting the playthrough.

the RNG with this game is pretty rough

im playing Battle hunter and theres a VIP mission im doing where i have to get a blue floppy disc from the guy with the shades, but i have to defeat him in battle. its impossible because 1, he seems to get better movement numbers than me, 2, RNG is usually in his favor when trying to reach the exit, and 3, anytime i battle him, i cant seem to do enough damage quick enough. is this even required?? its the 2nd mission!

any way to change controls?

when i was playing FF 13, i was going through the paradigm or however you spell it) tutorial, and RB/RB wasnt working, to i pressed other buttons. appearently my controls are all messed up, X is to bring up the menu, RT is Pause, Y is previous character, RB is next character, RT is to toggle the mini map, LB is to check enemies and their stats, is there any way to fix this?

im so happy this has FINALLY been fixed to make sense

ive always been afraid of these things since i would step on it and i would fall through (i played the gems collection version). it was a harsh lesson to avoid them. ive been playing through sonic origins with ultrafix and i found this. THERES A SPIKEBALL ON IT, AND I DONT FALL THROUGH! so if you stand on it, its your fault, not just because it doesnt make you fall through, but because it actually makes sense. theres gonna be a spikeball that will crush you!

regular SoH changed to Randomizer.

my buddy and i are playing through SoH and i appearently i somehow made it so that it changed from my regular profile to the randomizer profile while using the regular SoH game. is there any way to change this back? or do we just have to play through the game again?

context: we were in the middle of forest temple.
